We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use the Flashcards Suite Google Sheets add-on. By using Flashcards Suite, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Access and Process

Flashcards Suite does not log, collect, or store any of your personal information or spreadsheet data on our own external servers. To function, the add-on requires access to your Google Sheet to read the words you input. To process your flashcards and calculate review parameters, this text is transmitted securely to Google's Large Language Model (LLM) API.

Third-Party Processing (Google LLM API)

When your flashcard data is sent to the Google LLM API for processing: * In-Transit Only: The text is used strictly in real-time to generate your spaced repetition/forgetting curve results. * No Retention: We do not intercept, save, or retain any of the data sent to or received from the API. * The API returns the calculated data directly back to a new sheet within your original Google Workbook.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because no data is ever stored on our servers, we do not have a data retention period.

All of your flashcard content, review histories, and AI-generated schedules reside exclusively within your own Google account. You retain 100% control over the retention and deletion of this data. You can permanently delete this data at any time by: 1. Deleting the specific sheet generated by the add-on. 2. Deleting the entire Google Spreadsheet. 3. Uninstalling the add-on from your Google Workspace.

How We Disclose Your Information

Because we do not retain your personal data, we do not sell, share, or disclose any of your information to third parties.

Limited Use Disclosure

Flashcards Suite's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Security

Your data is processed securely via Google's API infrastructure and the results are stored solely within your Google Workspace. We do not maintain external databases that could be compromised.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a new version on our website. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
